Port City Bakery Inc -dba AK Pizza Crust are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manufacturing Business Analyst to oversee our inventory management processes.  The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory records, optimized inventory levels, and support the efficient flow of goods within our manufacturing facilities.  This role is critical to maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain and ensuring product availability.  Responsibility extends to all production facilities.  The Manufacturing Business Analyst reports directly to our Senior Business Analyst.

Key responsibilities:

• Functional inventory owner.
• Perform regulaar inventory counts and reconciliations between multiple facilities.
• Assist the Quality Department in mock recall's and help develop best practices.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with procurement, shipping and the data team to develop bin management systems.
• Manage, plan, and execute year-end physical inventory audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Work directly with warehouse teams to develop a plan to improve lot code accuracy.
• Conduct a monthly meeting to review inventory adjustments, discuss discrepancies, and outline future inventory management plans.

ERP Support and Analysis:

• Assist Data Team in investigating inventory discrepancies in our ERP system.
• Provide continued education to our production and shipping team on best practices on inventory transactions via our ERP system.
• Some data entry required.

 Requirements:

• Associates degree in Supply Chain Management (or equivalent) or a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in inventory management.
• Experience operating forklift preferred but not necessary (training provided)
• Microsoft Office skills; excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with various departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Highly organized and detail orientated, capable of accepting and completing work assignments with minimal supervision in a highly motivated manner once entry level training is complete.
• The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality is required.

Language skills: Requires the ability to understand and follow instructions and to communicate effectively one-on-one and in small groups.  Teamwork and a positive attitude are essential in keeping with our culture of cooperation and respect.
Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills required.
